Registration for Dutch citizens in Pakistan (for both short and long stay)

All Dutch citizens who stay for a short or longer period in Pakistan are recommended to register. Registration is voluntary and costs nothing, but in case of an emergency it can be of great use. It enables you also to be informed of social events (like Queens Day) or of important matters.

Why should you register?

All Dutch citizens travel to Pakistan are advised to register themselfes. When an emergency happens, or if a natural disaster, terrorism, or civil unrest strikes during your foreign travel, the embassy or consulate can be your source of assistance and information. By registering your trip, you help the embassy or consulate locate you when you might need them the most.

Registration is voluntary and costs nothing, but it should be a big part of your travel planning and security. The embassy and consulate are committed to ensuring that any personal information received pursuant to the registration process, is safeguarded against unauthorized disclosure. The data that you provide is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act (WBP). This means that the embassy or consulate will not disclose the information you provide in your registration to any third parties unless you have first given us authorization to do so, or unless the disclosure is otherwise permitted by the Privacy Act.
